Hopefully AC stays on the route. They only started it in response to Air Transat starting theirs.

No need for them to, according to GCMap.
Doesn't that map take them over Iran, Iraq and or Pakistan?

Looking for some opinions about a flight I booked, not realizing a potential connection issue. I am flying on an Air Canada flight from EWR to TLV, with a 41 minute stopover in YUL (7741 to YUL and 082 to TLV), giving me roughly 25 minutes to make my connecting flight. It looks like the EWR-YUL flight has a high delay rate but the YUL-TLV doesnt. Does anyone have experience with this flight? I didn't even think when I was booking it, I guess I just assumed if it was available, it should not be an issue. I called AC and was told that it sounds very short but is within the "legal stopover" timeframe and that my baggage would be going straight through to TLV. This almost seems unlikely since they hardly have time to get my bags from one plane to the next. Would appreciate any input. Thanks.

Problem is that domestic flights often get delayed last minute. It's theoretically possible, but whenever there's a domestic flight before an international flight, I usually recommend giving at least 2.5 hours, to leave some room for "normal" delays

Generally, the passengers luggage should be checked in by the time the flight from YUL/YYZ/BOS etc. is scheduled to depart. These domestic flights are scheduled literally back to back.

Thanks both very much for your help. Which flight are you referring to that leaves YUL at 130? I dont see any flight at 130 from YUL to EWR. Are you referring to 7740 at 145? So are you saying, if I see that that flight is delayed, I can ask them in EWR to book me on a united flight direct to israel?
