Thanks both very much for your help. Which flight are you referring to that leaves YUL at 130? I dont see any flight at 130 from YUL to EWR. Are you referring to 7740 at 145? So are you saying, if I see that that flight is delayed, I can ask them in EWR to book me on a united flight direct to israel?
right. Keep in mind that Israeli security mandates you being there 45 minutes in advance, I don't think sthey're so strict on that, but it's a whole step to get through, in YUL

They have a few other routes as well flying with reconfigured 772’s.

I'm excited because it's new, but I'm going to assume they are going to be even more narrow then the 77W

19’ 3” vs 19’ 6” wont make a difference.

So what's the deal with TLV airport re lounges? They don't let anyone except DAN/LY to have one? Or no one is interested? Given that (per Wiki) from the top 10 airlines there is 3 *A - and given UA has 4 flights with high premium passengers (Given they don't release award as they sell those seats) why doesn't UA/*A built their own lounge?

Since they can get away with Dan. Not that there's that much room in terminal 3 for another lounge anyway

UA/*A has long wanted their own lounge.
T3 wasn't built to allow for one, so it's going to wait until the next expansion.

Are there any flights during winter direct to any of the Greek isles? What's the warmest location with direct flight? Cyprus? Anything else that's relatively warm?

Malta is about the same warm as Cyprus.
