I wonder if this will stop AA from launching flights to Israel, I imagine their Philly plan was to get the ORD traffic but with a direct flight with Elal this can hurt them....

You could be right. I know when Philly had their flight it seemed like almost everyone from Denver took that route and when this ElAl route starts it will be my go to flight.

That's precisely the point. They don't allow El Al to fly to Turkey, and Israel let's them in, and they're partying on the monopoly....
