Why is there so much skepticism with this route? Between the conferences that go on year round in Vegas and the amount of casino players Israel has this is a perfect location. And to the question that Israelis have closer casinos, there are no casino focus cities like Vegas closer.
Atlantic City?

+1. People also don’t understand the amount connecting business ElAL gets from JetBlue, AA and Alaska. A lot of Western states travelers backtrack to LAX and SFO for direct flights from there and would happily connect in Vegas. For me personally, I have no way to ever catch a Motzei Shabbat flight from Denver to arrive Sunday in Israel (even in the winter) but because I gain an hour, and the flight is sufficiently late, I could book this. I could see lots of business and tourist travelers from  Seattle and Phoenix, etc. also loving this flight. Also, now that I can earn Alaska points EL AL will easily be my (and others) first choice for paid bookings, for SO many reasons.

Oh please. Not a comparison and still not a direct flight like Vegas.

kigali is not exactly a lovely place to connect..but I guess they are trying their luck, would imagine they would try to compete on EU routes rather then this
New route subsidy?
is Israel just handing out subsidy’s without questioning the financial viability of the route ? Where do I sign up ?  ;D

There are tons of Israelis doing business in Africa, you’d be very surprised. ET has 2 or 3 daily flights to TLV.

and how will they compete with ET (network) ? I’m just confused of them picking TLV when they only fly LON & BRU in the EU...
Whatever, just thought it was a cool addition to TLV roster

was meantioned above.

Well, if we can't get SQ to serve TLV, at least we will have RwandAir with established service to TLV by the time they become the next SQ.
$795 RT to JNB in J October time.
$300 Y fares.
What kind of Equipment? What about connection times? (not that I have any use for it either way, and they aren't part of an alliance so can't even think of it as a mileage run).
Either 2 stops, or 17 hour connections.
737 on the longest flight of the 2/3.
330 for the other 1/2 IINM.

Not sure if this is the right place to post this question:

If I am flying EWR-TLV UA90 on 9/14/2019 which lands in TLV Terminal 3 at 4:20pm, will I have enough time to take TUS Airways U8125 TLV-LCA which departs at 7pm on 9/15/2019 out of Terminal 1?
I have to clear immigration pick up luggage, take the shuttle and go through check in etc. in Terminal 1.
Will I have enough time to make the flight?

TIA!

I would guess you’re OK if you don’t have any delays.

Risky. Sometimes immigration can take a while.. then getting on the bus to terminal 1, all the lines within terminal 1 etc

It's been a while since I've been in terminal 1, might just be worth the risk?
Is there a way to transfer from terminal 3 to 1 without leaving the secure area or do I absolutely have to go through security and customs again?
