I find that Skyscanner shows most of the small charter flights ex-TLV including those that don't show on the normal OTA's.

Try editing the following link with your destination, dates and passenger information:

https://www.gulliver.co.il/flights/results?flightstype=2&origincode=TLV&destcode=LTT&datefrom=21.07.20&dateto=27.07.20&paxcode=a2c0i0

destcode=[put your 3 letter destination airport code here, instead of the LTT in the example above]
datefrom=[put your outbound date here in DD.MM.YY format, instead of 21.07.20 in example above]
dateto=[put your return date here in DD.MM.YY format, instead of 27.07.20 in example above]
paxcode=[format is a followed by number of adults, c followed by number of children, i followed by number of infants, in example above a2c0i0 means 2 adults, 0 children and 0 infants]

Thanks for that! Are the charter flights loaded now for the summer time? Or only 2 weeks out?

For example, anything direct from FAO in Portugal or any of the Canary islands?

Direct charter flights are usually to the Greek or Italian islands. Those flights load a few months before the flights.

Brown to set up a hotel in Ben Gurion. Adjacent to terminal 3 - 200 rooms.

Convenient when LY lands close to Shabat  :)

It's about time! What took so long for them to get a hotel? Are they they busiest airport in the world without a hotel?

Agreed. Probably because it's not a huge hub for connections.

This might be a relief for people who have relatives hospitalized at the Assaf Harofe hospital, as the adjacent hotel was often booked to capacity by airline crews.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

That brings to question #2...
Considering the massive network LY has in Europe, why don't they use TLV as a connection hub to destinations like BOM, BKK, PEK, HKG and (especially) MEL.
Honestly, MEL stands 10x a better chance of success if they can rely on traffic from Europe where no airline operates non-stop flights to Australia.

Answer is they suck and TK beat em.

Though, as has been pointed out many times, no-one in their right mind would pay the kind of money (or miles) those suites or residences command, if they were on the ground.
