Confused, article says self isolate. Is it self isolate or isolation hotels?

At present non-Israelis are not allowed into Israel and Israelis returning from abroad must self-isolate for 14 days.

Also good to United is starting TLV- SFO route again.

I’m confused, how can they possibly succeed with these reopened flights without non-citizens entering?

as of now, the quarantine requirement ends May 6
if that's extended, then flights likely won't resume

They're reading off schedules. Meaningless.
BA has been flying almost daily as cargo
DL was on schedule but off again
Air Serbia is still showing on some schedules but actually not flying

as of now, the quarantine requirement ends May 6
if that's extended, then flights likely won't resume

Anyone understand what it means??
Both the document below, from Government office, and the press, based on Bibi's speech, point to June 14th as some kind of step for Israeli aviation

[Referring to June 14th] As for international flights, Netanyahu said Israel was seeking a way to “reconnect to the world,” but without exposing the country to contagion from those countries that were still grappling with far higher infection rates.

They are negotiating a safe travel bubble with Greece & Cyprus, as are NZ & Australia.

In the end it will be a White List of unaffected countries supplemented by testing and tracing.

How do you prevent travelers from other countries to connect through white list countries?

There can be many way - only white listing countries that have strict border procedures, only allowing residents of the white list territories requiring all tourists to document time of entry into the country they're flying in from, requiring in person visa application 2 weeks prior, etc

I think the whole point is that all these countries won’t let foreigners in other then from the other “safe” countries.

Cyprus is an Island so it's easy to isolate. Greece is a whole other story.

Greece has plenty of islands. Some with international airports.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!
