Israir 320 and El Al 737 vs Emirates 380/777 and Etihad 787 is a true David v Goliath fight.

More like the mosquito v Titus.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Cool! Was able to just switch my connecting flight to nonstop, since the new flight is now wide open in K class. The other nonstop flight is a few hundred dollars more. Great for anyone going during or after sukkos.

@Dan I don't see them for sale but they are showing on the airport's schedule.
My guess is that they will be for sale later today, or tomorrow

Well.. being Israir definitely lowers my excitement level for being on the inaugural flight...  If it's cheap enough I might do it anyway for kicks, otherwise I'll wait for Etihad.

What would you consider as 'cheap', out of curiosity?

Via AUH/DXB? Sure.
Nonstop? Not a chance.

Israir 320 and El Al 737 vs Emirates 380/777 and Etihad 787 is a true David v Goliath fight.

Hasn't it been discussed that an a380 to TLV is highly unlikely? Can TLV airport even handle an a380 (runway length, multiple boarding sleeves)?

(sorry for bouncing an old post - just read now)
