It's been postponed so many times  :)
I believe these flights are also code-shared with LY.

I looked for options from TLV to MLE through Bahrain but not seeing anything

Option 1: Unless this is from London, make him over 16 and just alter the date of birth. Price is anyway the same.
Option 2: Call a human travel agent to book it. They can book minors on their own booking. (You may even support a fellow Jew in the process....)

Quick question about flying to AUH.

Website says: You must take a COVID-19 PCR test a maximum of 48 hours before your flight departure time. Your test result must contain a QR code.

Anyone here has experience using a regular Israeli PCR test?, without QR code?

cant imagine its an issue, the most popular test, check2fly, as most israeli tests do not have a barcode.
in fact im not sure any of them have one

Delta launching 3x BOS-TLV starting May 26th

https://onemileatatime.com/news/delta-boston-athens-tel-aviv-flights/

Schedule (not mentioned on OMAAT)
Departing BOS - Sun, Tues, and Thurs 4:20pm landing in TLV 9:35am
Departing TLV - Sun, Tues, and Thurs 11:50am landing in BOS 4:45pm

There's obviously going to be some corrections made here because I don't think they will be leaving an aircraft in TLV idle for 26 hours, or 50 hours over the weekend...
It can't be a swap from the JFK aircraft, because there's a daily flight 11:50am to JFK as well according to the current schedule.

Can they ferry their plane from ATH to TLV to position for these flights?

Maybe a 5th Freedom flight (can then fly Etihad back to NY ;) )?
