Seems like LOT is flying the 787 TLV-WAW on Oct 19, next sunday. As well as Monday, Oct. 20

Not bad for people scheduled on that flight.

High Loads.

I heard great things about that Aircraft.

Wont surprise me. The first two days after Chag.

And yes, having flown it I can say it actually is a great aircraft, quiet, spacious, and the windows DO make a big difference

On another note, TK is flying mostly A330 next week. Usually they fly a mix between 737, A320, A321, A330, but most of the days next week look like A330s

Im thinking of booking a flight from tlv to nyc on elal for late winter with aa miles. I would deff want to get a free flight to lax or hnl or something but I cant leave within 24 hrs. Does anyone know a way around ? Maybe after they take off elal I can switch the date for the second leg but the first one will automatically stay ???

If that works, i'd be quite pleased

For now, assume not.

You can always book to HNL, and if it doesn't work out, just get off in NYC when you collect your bags.
That's my plan on my TLV-LAX-SEA-KOA flight.

Also,

Direct Flights will Facilitate Growing Ties between Israel & New England

The Consulate General of Israel to New England is pleased to announce that an agreement was reached between El Al and Massport for direct flights to Tel Aviv. Consul General of Israel, Mr. Yehuda Yaakov, remarked on this achievement, "Direct flights pave the way for a further strengthening of Israel-US ties, both economically and culturally. We look forward to seeing many more of our New England friends exploring firsthand our diverse society and rich history." El Al will conduct direct flights from Boston's Logan Airport to Ben Gurion Airport beginning this summer.

I don't see the attraction for airlines to fly there until:

A) they finally build a normal airport just outside Eilat

B) Israel pumps some serious money into Eilat hotels, infrastructure, beaches.
there are way better places for a tourist in Europe to go than Eilat

They signed off on building a second international airport down there recently.
And a Chinese company won a tender to build a railroad from Eilat to Tel Aviv'ish.

I know that, but realistically these projects wont be operational for a good 5 years at a minimum
