Can't hurt to try
Thanks, they were nice enough to cancel my existing reservation with no penalty and rebook me with the better rate that I had found

Does anyone know if I use my MIL's account to book a reservation for a Sheraton, can I use my Suite Night Awards on that reservation?

Typical sheratons. Flip a coin. Eatontown is better located I guess near the beach areas

You mean if you take the challenge right before you get your credits for the year? Interesting... If that works it would be a breeze to make it

Since they only count paid stays, not sure if that would work.

No

therefore it would be easier to combine 2 accounts' 5 stays each for 10 total stays and then completing the additional 15 stays with points and/or C&P for the total 25 stays per year to earn plat status

5 nights per account, not 5 stays. It's only 2 stays
