i have a reservation on hold at an spg hotel in order for me to transfer more spg points, i am missing 8000 points, whats my best option to transfer over points, i have points at all major mileage & CC programs. amex transfer rate is 333/1000, is there a better option? thanks for your help

Looking to book a Shabbos Sheva Berachos for around 100 ppl in the tristate area, I was told by Sheraton that company policy is not to allow points for large gatherings etc.. Anyone ever hear of that?
not at all they actually are supposed to give points for people booking groups from my understanding. but there is a limit to the # of points you can get based on your status
I believe the question is about using points to book the rooms.
