I'm trying to book a 2 night stay at the 4points in Miami beach.
When I search each night separately there's no points availability.
Only as a 2 night stay there is.
I tried calling and the rep wasn't able to book it with my cat 5 certs because they can only be used on one night reservations. Any advice? TIA

Try getting a supervisor to see that there's available for 2 nights and have her call the hotel and ask them to remove the minimum stay requirement. It might take some HUCA, but it can be done.

Does anyone know if the Sheraton Davos offers Platinum kosher breakfast?

Does any SPG hotel offer Platinum members kosher breakfast?

You can also have the rep make a "pending" reservation for 1 night and then have it manually issued (supervisor might be required to do so).

Let's not get into a "is it kosher/good hechsher" argument now

Do I need to pay using my Amex SPG business card in order to access Sheraton Lounges, or just showing them the card is good enough?
IINM, You don't need to use the biz card. Once you have it attached to your SPG account, that benefit should be automatic with any reservation made from that account.

Well personally I'm a Hyatt guy so I don't know the ins and outs of SPG benefits, but I read a post that seems to imply that even SPG golds are entitled to "Diamond Kosher breakfast." http://forums.dansdeals.com/index.php?topic=14518.msg593558#msg593558

So an AU card won't work because it has to be attached to your SPG account?

Interesting, since when does SPG Gold get free breakfast?

What I'm saying is, the card used for the reservation is irrelevant - as long as the reservation is made from the SPG account that has the biz card.

So if I just show them an AU for the SPG business card, I won't get access?

That might work if the hotel staff are nice/clueless, but I don't think that's how the benefit is supposed to work.

If they're clueless, they probably won't know that SPG business cards get access in the first place.

If you get a clueless rep or get turned down by a rep, you can always WATBATA

You're welcome then!
It can definitely be useful. The only problem is that usually the same rep is still there and occasionally they remember that you were there 5 minutes before. :P
