In order to achieve Lifetime Platinum status, you need 50 nights for 10 years in a row, or just being Platinum for 10 years in a row will achieve Lifetime Platinum as well?
Neither. You need 10 platinum years (not necessarily in a row), & 500 nights (spread out however you would like - does not even need to be in a year that you earned platinum)
Just as a data point, the nights from the CC count correct? that would be 10 per year with a business and personal CC and would come out 100 nights after the 10 years
Correct
Nice so really I only would have to do 400 nights over the 10 years
Also need to have Platinum status for 10 years.
or "only" 250 stays over the 10 years.
Less, since the cards give you 2 stays per year.
and if you have the business and personal its 4 a year
So 210 stays/nights in 10 years. If you do 21 weekend 1 night stays a year for the next 10 years at a Cat 1 (2k SPG per night), that's 420k SPG for Lifetime Platinum.
The Starwood business card will now provide free access to Sheraton Club lounges.
how many guests would i be able to take in with me to the lounge?
it's generally just an issue to swipe your room card to obtain access.
dont you need gold business status?
