yes you can call up and do a platinum challenge. Basically if you stay 18 nights in 3 months they will give you platinum for a year (if you want gold you have to do 9 nights in 3 months)

not sure I did mine july-september and they gave me the rest of that year and the following year. so it probably would work jan-march. but call to find out forsure and I would record the call for back-up

If the St Regis Bal Harbor didnt have the room ready until 5:30pm (guy is a gold member fwiw) can compensation be had?

Yes, weekday/weekend. When selecting multiple days, it will give you the average.

Any chance your referring to LM in CNX ? I was wondering the same thing, bec. my total for 5 nights (mon.-sat.) came out to 19k, and that's after 5th night free. Average comes out to 4.75k a night, even though reserving sat.-sun. itself was only 3k
