MS!

Unfortunately not my strong suit- always relied on AP, Bb, Redcard, and serve- seems things are a lot harder now.

Also with SPG I just could never get the math to work out. MS'ing 10k point for example would be 20 GCs at around $5 each, which is $100 and a whole lot of work. Yeah I could get more than that out of 10k SPG points, but not that much more that the hassle seemed worthwhile. If I'm missing a method or something def let me know, but always seemed tough on that card in particular- esp when I could be earning 5x for free on the ink with enough OM promotions that were taking up my unloading pipeline.

How long after canceling a cancelable SPG points reservation do the points go back into your account?
Also how long after completing 50 nights do the 10 SNA's post?

It's not automatic. After the 50th night posts, you'll receive an email for you to choose you 50 nights benefit. After you click through the email and choose the 10 SNA's, they'll be deposited into your account instantly.

Why is there no thread on buying SNAs or offering money to be booked through someone's platinum account?

You mean like this and others? Also just realize, it is much easier and significantly more active of a buy and sell community if a hotel has nights that can be sold as points/miles are not allowed to be sold on the forum.

Because SNA's are actually useful, unlike DSU's.

Because they can't be used on award stays they aren't useful?

I did see those, I was just wondering why there is no organized thread dedicated to SNA and platinum bookings, when in theory, they should be just as marketable as DSU's (say for people looking to make stay quotas).

Because SNA's are actually useful, unlike DSU's.

While I hear what you are saying in a circumstance where someone was planning on using his award stays, but if someone isn't planning on redeeming points toward stays, he could still be interested in making stay quotas, no?

Even DSU's don't really get offered much except when there is some sort of challenge/match.

Anyone who stays enough to earn DSU/SNA will for the most part use them on their own and have no need to offer them up.

I'd venture a guess if someone has a long enough upcoming paid stay they can find someone to try and apply a SNA

with SNAs it doesn't matter how long the stay is. Each SNA is good only for 1 night
