yes you get credit for 4 nights. (But you can't get credit for more than 3 rooms per night)

Also, if you're working towards an elite statues, for many people, it's easier to reach plat status with 25 stays per year vs. 50 nights per year. A 2-night stay is = to one stay.

So if staying for 2 rooms for 3 nights I should make 6 reservations? Do I have a risk of them telling me I have to change rooms in the middle?
I guess it also pays as 6 separate reservations as I will get the 250 bonus each reservations Vs only once?

Is it ever possible to get a free upgrade before you get to the hotel? Is there a point in emailing the front desk or something?

yes, YMMV, however they know when there are several suites open and that they will most probably not get booked within the next 48 hrs.
then you can call them on-site and they can reserve it for you. Esp gold and plat members

No, however before you cancel, call cooperate and ask for a supervisor. I've had them adjust it manually.

Sure. I do it almost every time I stay. Email or call general manager.

I don't have an alternative date yet. Is there anything they can do?
