Is there anyway to have an hotel open up rewards night, or to see more availability? I have gold status if that helps.

Tried one at a time?

Sorry, I made a mistake. There is only one room available for money. No point option.

you will get credit for 6 nights even if it is on the same reservation. But do it separately if you want 2 check in amenities or if you want it to be 2  stays.

if a cash room is available  THEY MUST offer you it for points as well

the trick they pull sometimes is they dont have a standard room avail
they have a deluxe only which charges much more points.....

Just stayed at the Sheraton Eatontown. What are the Plat bens?

Sheraton Eatontown has a fancy suite with a walk over Tub shower.... Ouch.

Westin Jersey City i've stayed at as well is much nicer

very corporate feeling hotel - but super views of lower manhattan and very nice suite.

Have a reservation at LM Chiang Mai, which went up a category.
Is there anyway to change the reservation without incurring the higher amount of spg points ?

Who would be better to contact regarding advance upgrade (ahead of check-in): Front Office mgr or Director of Operations?

i see a hotel with lowest price coming up as $202 but when i click on it, theres an option of hotel with parking package for $169. anyone have experience whether i could use that rate without parking a car? i dont see any mention of fee for car anyhow...

They may give you a better rate if you call the hotel and speak to the local front desk. (Not an off-site reservation system.)
