where can I get in the Brooklyn area the cheapest Internet on the go for my laptop like a mifi piece or a hem stick or a phone with web only that allowed tethering
with out a plan preffered

Why not just use your regular phone? Do you have a phone with internet access?

I have the s3 with Sprint. I rooted it for free wifi-tether, and with the new lte its pretty fast. No need to pay for a separate device^-^

virgin Mobile has a plan for 35 per month that uses the clear wire/ sprint wimax 4G network. Device is around 100 and no contract. It's a mifi. Not everywhere in brooklyn has the 4G wimax so otherwise it uses sprint slow 3g.

did the same but cant get the wifi hotspot to work i just have it connected to usb, do you use a app or direct from your phone?

A while ago I tried clear for $50/month. I called during my free 14 day trial to cancel and they offered $25/month for the next 3 months. When I asked how many times can I get that discounted rate they said indefinitely, just call every 3 months.

It took some playing around till I got it to work. I use a version of wifi tether.
