Use the hotel car service and settle the bill in cash.
Good idea as most of the airport taxis will scam you anyway.

Well, I had a bad experience with one of the unofficial taxis in BA in the past so I'm not so quick to do it again.

I used the Radio Taxi stand right outside the terminal, paid the driver $30 he wanted $280 pesos or $30USD (the current 'rate' is about $10.5 to a dollar so it wasn't too bad).

My BIL's flight JFK-EZE on Aerolineas Argentinas was delayed (technically canceled and replaced with a flight departing early Friday morning).

I was there from Wed afternoon through Sunday morning at I saw a lot. I could have stayed another 2-3 days to see more sites outside of the city like Tigre or the zoo that @Ya'alili went to.

I would say three minimum. But if you got more days go for it, great place and everything is so cheap, including the restaurants, ice cream and trips.

Great place! It's in Lujan, a bit more than an hour from BA. And you could always take a boat to Uruguay.

There's the small Jewish hotel I stayed at in Once. It wasn't gorgeous, but it was right in the middle of the community. They offer a discount for residents, and Ya'alili got the discount even though he's not a resident. It might be worth giving them a call/email.

Yup, very nice lady who manages the hotel. Expect to pay about us50 a night there. Though I negotiated it down to 40. Great comfy place in the center of jewish community.

I wasn't there for shabbos, but it didn't seem different than any other hotel in terms of shabbos. The locks are electric, but the lights and ac in room are not on timers and we didn't have any electric toilets or any weird things like that.
