But it's a 5 minute process that can be done all online.

It changed? When I was in Argentina (in '09) you were able to do it in the airport.

Enjoy, everything is so cheap there, hope you read some of the TR's here (mine and Yehoshua's) great info on BA. If your there for a while maybe also take a boat to Uruguay.

I landed this morning. I changed dollars at 14.7. I ate at Soulitan had pizza, gnocchi and empanadas. I'm staying at the Park Hyatt and got upgraded to an Executive Park Suite. I'm going to Asian for dinner tonight. After many email back and forth with tatiana they are still not making the roasted beef for me.

Good choice for going to Soultani, not great pizza but 100 times better than Romini, and theur empanadas were decent too. Bummer that Asian won't do the roasted beef anymore, they wouldn't for us either. The meat spring rolls and crispy chicken salad are both great appetizers. For main, I personally thought their Ribeye steak was very good, but not amazing, had a better and cheaper one at the steakhouse on Tocumen. Friend has at Asian Beef premium ribs and said was really good. They made for me a great iced passion fruit drink too.

The food is definitely not what it used to be. I haven't been there during the previous owner's tenure but to compare Asian to Shallot's, Tierra Sur, Mike's is laughable.
They still have some very good dishes but a lot of the menu is mediocre.

Yep.
The dishes that are still good, the prices, and the drinks, still make it a winner though.
Just need to temper expectations.

I guess if there's a new chef and owner that they probably don't even know how to make roasted beef...

Old owner promised to make me roasted beef when I returned but my emails to her when unanswered this month.

Wound up chopping EZE off the itin because of that...
