I have a wedding on June 26th (Sunday) and trying to figure out best way to get there from NY, PA and how much time to leave myself in Argentina, Little Nervous about the Zika virus (wife not pregnant)  any ideas would be helpful.
Don't think there's much to worry about zika there especially now as the winter is coming up. According to the CDC, Local transmission of Zika has been reported in Tucumán Province which isn't really near BsAs. Taking precautions can't hurt either.

Tucumán is a lot closer to Misiones province where Iguazu is.

The further north = warmer climate = aedes aegypti populations.

I was thinking of making a stopover somewhere warm with beaches on the way (there or back) but I don't see any options

Cartegena, Colombia is warm and has beaches, as does Rio.

I am thinking of staying longer and going to the falls (after reading Dan's report on it) how much time would I need for it and what is the best way to do it?

How much time/days would need to go to Iguazu?

2 days including travel time from BsAs.

Not sure what you mean by "do" it, but start looking in the Iguazu thread.

You can't find flights to connect from Iguazu to your flights back to the US?
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

That could work. Sun afternoon though Tueday afternoon/evening is a good amount of time in Iguazu.

Do you have tickets booked to Argentina?
Can't really help with flights if you don't your itinerary.

I have a wedding on June 26th and I just decided to go so I didnt book anything yet, originally the wife didn't want to go for too much time in Argentina as she wanted warm weather but after reading your posts about the falls I got her to change her mind so I am open to any suggestion (I have plenty of Amex and UR points)

If you go Monday early morning and return Tuesday evening you should be able to fully experience both sides of the falls. Thing is, most flights SA-US and VV are overnight so you might have to fly back earlier on Tuesday in order to catch your flight back to the US.

Sorry for not being more specific, I read through all 42 pages as well as the TR but most of the info is a few years old. I will still going to try the Aisian restaurant based on Dans report eve though it seems it isn't that cant miss option any more.  I'm landing Friday morning in EZE, spending Shabbas in the Jewish area and I have a wedding over there on Sunday so planning on staying there until Monday morning, plan on taking a flight out to the falls on Monday and returning on Tuesday afternoon. I have a flight back Wednesday night to the States. So that leaves me Friday, Sunday morning and most of Wednesday to see the city. Any new restaurants and what would you suggest as a can't miss in the time frame that I have? (Originally I was going you skip the falls but that seems like a bad idea after reading all the reports about it)
Thanks in a advance!
