anyone have a number of a reliable driver in buenos aires?
Why do you need a driver? I've never heard of people using one in BsAs.

I agree, was there 3 times and did not find a need for a driver, unless he has a specific reason to need a driver.

Just don't rely on Uber there.
We had a crazy story trying to get a taxi from our hotel to EZE airport, called an Uber three times, each time they canceled. All taxis on the street were occupied, finely we got one to stop, and he was only wiling to take us after offering him a nice bonus.

Your hotel couldn't get a taxi for you?

As opposed to any other city with a Jewish community for shabbos? Jujuy for example has a chabad, but that's not your question.

There are many Chabads in BA. So my question is which location in BA is the best experience.

Why be with Chabad when there's also a large Jewish community you can stay in (unless you're Lubavitch of course)? Many people stay at hotels in Ricoletta and go to the Chabad nearby, but I loved shabbos in Once.

Sure, I'd love to hear more about that. I don't know a soul in Argentina

Try contacting a shul to see if they havr a hospitality group. Pro tip: no one really speaks English, so try in Spanish and you'll get farther.

looking into a trip to PAtagonia in March iyH.
I land at 5:30am in BaAs and take off the next day at 7:30 to go to FTE. Am I crazy to spend that day going to Igauzu for 6-8 hours? Or should I just see BsAs?

See my TR for restaurants and activities we tried. My favorite place is a place in the Chabad of Recoleta. I can't remember the name, but I do remember that a reservation is pretty necessary as it's small (though it could be it was required because it was new when I went).

Hi All!
Visiting BA end of january with wife and 3 children incl. baby 1.5 years.
Looking for a decent to upscale hotel for shabbat very close walking distance to the Jewish community.
We normally enjoy spending shabbes with chabad around the world but since this is a large jewish community would really love to experience shabbes with the community/ shuls.
Just read thru all of the posts in this thread after 2015 (plus 15 more pages scattered) and can not find anything up to date. Any help is much appreciated!
