i think the Parsippany hotel here. my shabb sheva brachos was there. they have 2 beds in a lot of the rooms, they have shabb keys. they have a kosher caterer. its like 2/3 floors, so dont need that much elevator. and its like an hr and change from money or so.

The problem with most non-yiddish hotels is that check in is about 3 PM and check out is about 12. Since we stay till after Shabbos it counts like 2 full days.

I believe they rent out their chabad house in Summer months, for Shabbatons.

I am in middle of planning larger family shabbos  at a hotel( payed with points) complete with a minyan and meeting room and will keep posting as I gather more info. As i have posted elsewhere on the forums, the NJ sheratons (edison, eatontown, meadowlands, and AC) wouldnt let me bring outside food and insisted that I use a kosher caterer through their caterer for all food in public areas (ie:meeting rooms) of the hotel which will run $1500 (union wait staff required) before food. Marriott (Courtyard, Fairfield, and Residence Inn) have been much more reasonable and allow outside food as long as you sign a liability waiver . Rates on meeting rooms at Marriott seem to run about $500 for Fri. afternoon through Motza'ai Shabbos ($300 for shabbos and $150 for Fri. +tax.). This is still a work in progress and will keep posting as it progresses

How about the Crowne Plaza near monsey (i think suffern). Have a wonderful experience attending a shabbos sheva brachos there

Ohr Samayach in Monsey has a sort of mini-hotel with around 20 rooms,made with all jewish needs in mind, really nice place http://www.os.edu/beit_schvidler.php

i saw the thread about spending shabbos in a hotel but it will come out too expensive. anybody know of a nice place to go in the tri-state area for a yeshiva. roughly 30 bochurim and 3 rabbis + kids. really just need a place to sleep and a big room to eat in, will bring a sefer torah and food. 

i was thinking maybe a camp site but don't have any experience in this area.  If anyone has any ideas I'd appreciate it. thanks

We had a yeshiva shabbaton at a nice lodge in the Catskills, forgot what it was called right now, I think they charge $50 per person.

I had a very pleasant experience with the sheraton parsippany.
They know all about yidden. You cant surprise them with anything

I saw that the chabad of rutgers advertising for shabbatons and things like that.  They have rooms and a large dining room

I arranged a trip for 20 people to the Sheraton Stamford which is about an hour from Brooklyn. They charged us $80 a night for each room and $600 for a conference room to have our meals in for the weekend. They provided fridges in each room, cribs, cots, a couple of fridges in the conference room, and allowed us to keep blechs and crock pots in there. They gave us a key to lock the conference room up when we were done. All rooms are on the second floor and have the ability to use regular keys instead of the key cards on shabbos. They were well informed about shabbos and the fact that we couldnt do any melacha. We walked to the yeshiva, about a ten minute walk, for all minyanim.

I arranged a shabbos in the Hampton inn Parsippany nj nice place very cooperative, quite area, I think $130 a room. conference room on the house.
