Depends what you want to do. Been there numerous times and a couple times rented a car.

Would always go with this off-site place but they are now out of business. Last time a few years ago we went with Hertz. Did not use a code.

Jamaica is really nice country

We arrived on Friday stayed at Hyatt Ziva which is only a 12 minute walk to Chabad
Davening and Shabbos Meals at Chabad with Rabbi Raskin were really beautiful

Please note that Chabad House is in a gated community so you have to reserve or reach out before going www.JewishJamaica.com





Shul was setup very nicly over looking golf course and ocean






There is even a Brand new stunning womens mikvah









The Meals were out of this world sitting outdoors with view of ocean on one side and sunset on other side, it was just magnificant!








Food was delicious, singing was so harmonious and Rabbi spoke very well. We just had an amazing time schmoozing with other guests.

Sunday we went to the Hip Strip about 25 minutes from Hyatt and ate at the Kosher Hot Spot and then went to Margaritaville which has a Big trampoline in the water



Monday we booked Driver (Dougles +18764807338) went to  Ocho Rios Blue Hole, Dunns Falls (Hiking up a waterfall which was an amazing experience) and Green Grotto Caves.

Tuesday we did the Bamboo Rafting And Limestone Foot Massage Tour.

We ordered dinner from Chabad every day and they delivered to hotel.

Chabad in Jamaica is a hidden jem and a lovely place to eat for shabbos. The all inclusive Hyatt resort is a 10 minute walk.

If you would like to stay at Hyatt then PM me, as I can book it for you for much less than the listed price and I have Globalist benefits which gives you free upgrades at their resorts.

Has anyone stayed at the Secrets, breathless, or zoetry options? I'm having a hard time choosing between the different Hyatt all inclusive resorts. If I don't need to be right next to Chabad, what's makes ziva/zilara better than the secrets?

we ended up splitting our time between Zilara and the Royalton Blue Waters (I have all these Marriott points and feel like I never get to use them).
We've stayed in both Ziva and Zilara in Cancun as well as staying in the secrets Moxche in Cancun. The Zilara in Jamaica is not quite as nice as the Cancun options. It is an expansive resort because it's basically one hotel with the Ziva and it's really nice but not nearly as beautiful as the Cancun options. Also, the beach was nice but not much to do on the beach since the beach area is small and the water is too choppy (even with the rock formations to break the waves). So you can't really walk on the beach, and you can't do much water sports in the water. We did the guided catamaran trip which was fun but only about 30 minutes long.
As far as Royalton vs Zilara, i would say it's pretty close. Zilara still has a slightly higher level of service. Everyone is always trying to figure out how to help you even if your requests are complicated (kosher food warm ups and getting whole vegetables...). In Royalton they were nice but didn't necessarily go that extra mile. However, the resort is really nice. It has a small water park with slides and things which is another thing to do (with kids or even if not). They have a lazy river too. Beach is a little nicer and bigger than Zilara.

anybody have phone number to call for help with the permit? the number on that website isnt working. i filled it out online and just made up some stuff but wanna confirm

What other hotels are recommended for one to stay near chabbad for shabbos. The hyyat hotels seem to be sold out of standard rooms at 25k. Only suites are showing avlb starting at 43k.

Chabad has their own complex which has eiruv but Hyatt does not have eiruv
