« on: July 11, 2013, 11:15:28 PM »
Before I start I searched the forum for an answer to my question and couldn't find one so now...
I'm moving back from Israel to the USA (I know it's sad) with a lot of luggage and would like to buy insurance I have an Amex platinum and a united card I called amex they said I can only buy if my trip originates from the USA this is a one way ticket! If someone has an idea where I can get insurance I greatly appreciate it thanks in advance! Mendy

its not a problem. they think your referring to life insurance for your flight. u gotta talk to the right person. done it plenty of times (with amex that is) it cost 10$ for baggage delay insurance and the card comes with baggage damage protection automatically..

I deal exclusively with Travel Guard. Unfortunately since you are not originating in the US, you are considered to have "in-trip status" and they do not have any product that they can give you. If you contact an Israeli Insurance company, they can probably help you.
