israel grandmother advice

hi, a grandmother needs to get to israel in december for expexted birth of grandchild.  She has 30k continental miles
and her husband has about 32k continental miles.  any suggestions as to the best way to get a ticket?  Thanks!

 whats the big deal that its a grandmother that wants to fly, heck she could be 40. had a friend who walked her oldest to the Chupa and a couple of days after Sheva Brachas gave birth.Another 1 gave birth 2 weeks after her 1st grandchild was born

 anyway all they have are 30k and 32k , since a coach tkt if available is 70k they are at best 38k short. Cant combine the miles in both accts or at least w/o being feed to death. so either 1 has to get a Chase CO CC and /or Amex Gold or Chase Sapphire in order to get the bonus miles, if they already had these 3 and got the bonuses then theyd have to spend $38k on 1 CC ASAP

Slight correction, CO requires 75K for ticket in coach if avail

where I work (bronx) people have grandkids at 30...so fair point.  Main point was that it would be very meaningful to the grandmother to be there...
