Now that the iphone 5s is out can I ask for an opinion? I have a 4s for a while. I can now switch phones if I want to. Should I switch to this Galaxy S4 or go for the Iphone 5s? Or is there a lack of experience with the 5s out there to know yet? Thanks

It's just a personal preference. They are both good devices. They're pretty different.
  Personally I am an Android fan and would go with the S4 ( or a different android device).
Some people end up preferring the iPhone.

i had a 5c and i was barely able to pawn it off to anyone today, while they all told me that maybe they would flip a 5s for a s4. so all those that are bringing iphones into israel, either bring the gold or bring a galaxy s4, youll make more money!

If you get the 5S in gold, don't waste your time trying to sneak it past Israeli customs, just sell it online (esp. International) and you'll make a killing.

I beg to differ. Plenty of people using 4 or 4S on iOS 7 complaining about performance.

Another big differnce is, unline in iOS, even if you're running an old version of android, all your stock apps are updated to the latest and greatest. Browser, email, talk/hangouts, etc. But in iOS, it's either all or nothing.

I'm now convinced that there is planned obsolescence on the software side with iPhones. 3gs was severely slowed by iOS 5, 4 by iOS 6, and now 4s with iOS 7.

basically stick with the ios the phone came with or upgrade every new phone that comes out (verizon edge)
