I use Gmail only for Gmail. Maybe to have other accounts come to Gmail it needs to be setup from a computer. Cmiiw.
You couldn't get stock to pull 2 accounts?

I'm basically like an iPhone

I just lose energy without doing anything.

Are most apps available for Android and iOS? Should that be a big factor in deciding what phone to get?

For the average user you'll be fine either way. I wouldn't let that be a factor IMO.

Which os you prefer? Other features you may like in the phone?

The hardware itself? How the phone feels?
Battery life?
Price?

I prefer Android because you don't need to use iTunes and it's much more customizable.

... it's much more customizable.

I should add, more customizable out of the box.
There are many limits to out of the box customization; further customization would require rooting.
Someone requiring root would not have that advantage over iPhone.

What do you mean by out of the box?

Out of the box means without jailbreaking or rooting.
