abandoning blackberry finally. Deciding between Galaxy S4 and iPhone. Finally picked up the S4 at Best Buy for $0 but wondering if the fact that I have an iPad have any weight in my decision? Overall which is the better phone?

dont like my android and the os system... so fickoked. i never heard of downloading new apps bec the stock apps arent good! my txt message stock app sucks, and i cant send any messages now. and my email stock app is horrible. i dont see any adtv. of androids over apple

Try an HTC One. I use everything stock on this device. It's one of the reasons I chose it over the s4. I'm not a fan of Samsung's take on Android.

i cant get my aol. emails on my s4. and my message app is completely messed up

What's messed up? I don't love the look on the s4 but it does work IME.

i cant send messages or receive. i have to use hangouts, which is good, but the issue is i dont get notifications on my screen and no preview of it like i would by my iphone

This exactly is the advantage of Android over iOS, that if you don't like the stock apps, you can switch'em out for more favorable choices.

u seem to be missing the point of a complete system. or a perfect one at that. would u rather buy a house where u need to repair half of it, or buy a house that is in great shape, and would like to touch it up with new colors or nice paintings....

Well, the world is not perfect, and different people, different strokes, everyone likes something else. Would you rather buy a house where rooms can't be changed, repainting needs to be approved by the seller, you're only allowed to use the breakfast area till 8:30 am, and unless you jailbreak, your toilet won't let you pee before you pick up the seat? Or would you rather want a little bit more control in your own house?
