There is a website for people who are on a nonimmigrant visa (e.g, H1B). Try there

https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/consent.html

B”h, I just received my Green Card, so I thought I’d document my experience in obtaining it, which will hopefully be a help for people applying.

Mid-January

Four forms were sent to the USCIS:
•   I-130, Petition for Alien Relative (which my wife filled out)
•   I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status (the actual application)
•   I-765, Application for Employment Authorization
•   I-131, Application for Travel Document

Just browsing through noticed you didn't mention form
g-325a  biographic info required to be filled out by sponsor and applicant at least by a green card through marriage also form g-1145 not required but its to request notification of acceptance of application and you forgot to mention the $$$$

It's been almost 2 months since DW passed her interview to become a citizen. Still haven't received any date for the naturalization ceremony. Is that normal?

I don't know if the processes are handled by the same office or not, but I applied to renew by Green Card in May and still haven't heard back. Apparently they're on a 9 month delay for that.

My mil had to travel and realised that her green card has expired. She went down to Manhattan and got immediate 6 month extension

just filed I-751(remove conditional status) and got a response 10 days later that its been received and a temp year extension. I got the green card in 4 months from filing and someone who filed a month later ended up taking forever until they got some elected officials involved to speed things up

sure know someone that  got charged like 300 I can try to find out. do it urself it aint that hard!
I need info on applying from another country. Also I haven't seen a detailed guide on applying.  E.g. Where to go for what,  what are the commonly missed documents, laws pertaining certain circumstances.

Ya, I also got a quick response after I filed the I751 and got a biometrics appointment shortly after that. It's been held up since then. My app is being processed at the Vermont center and apparently there's a backlog there. They said they'll prob get to my app in March.

Any idea if its a problem flying with an expiring/expired green card if you have the 1 year extension paper?
