Anyone know the deal with weekday Mincha minyanim in DC (not Silver Spring etc..)?

I don't seem to find very useful info online.
The shul in dc has mincha maariv at shkiah

Can you be more specific?  Or is there only one shul in DC?

The second one. It's in Georgetown near the park Hyatt. Modern place. Forget what it's called.

Kesher Israel?
IIRC Agudas Yisroel and 1 or 2 other offices have mincha minyanim around DC.

First time at Eli's tonight. I went there based on recommendations from this thread. I gotta say... it was crowded, super long wait for seating and for food. Food was good, price was okay, but the overall experience was not awesome at all.

What do I do tomorrow for lunch?

BTW staying at the Sheraton in Pentagon City just across the Potomac from the city. Great view from my room.

I thought most people considered Eli's to be far superior to Distrikt Bistro.

Granted people find Eli's to be superior- it is another option.  There aren't many options in DC.

Can't say I've ever eaten at Distrikt...just hear from the locals how they can grab lunch there.

I'm going to Silver Spring to visit my cousins for Shabbos, then spending half of Sunday and most of Monday in DC.

From what I've seen in this thread, Eli's is the only good eating option in DC proper?

I'm hoping to use my Hilton points for a hotel fairly close to the Mall.... anyone have experience with Embassy Suites?  I've never stayed at one.

I'm traveling with my wife, 4yr old and 2 yr old.  We're thinking the National Childrens Museum, maybe Air and Space museum for a short while, and just walking the Mall.  Any suggestions on what to do with very young kids?

There are a few Embassy Suites in the area.
I stayed at the Embassy Suites Crystal City near DCA, very nice hotel and accommodating staff.

As a HHonors gold, they upgraded me to the presidential suite which has two large bedrooms (very good for traveling with kids).
Don't think they're walking distance to the mall, but you can take an easy subway ride.
Love me or hate me. I still love you.
