Personally, I'd just fly IAD-LAX
Life isn't about checking the boxes. Nobody cares.

Thanks. I appreciate it.
I should add, FWIW: flying back to BOS not only gives the extra flight mileage credit (albeit just 500 miles) but also chance to see DW for a few hours.

Never been to Hickory, but in my experience charbar is overpriced.

Silver crust closed, so you'd have to head out to the suburbs for dairy.

See I misread the quote below as listing two restaurants not a restaurant and then a food recommendation. Whoops.
Char bar. Hickory burger

In general, yes. During AIPAC, YMMV. :)

Anyone been to soupergirl  thesoupergirl.com? Looks pretty funky and really close to Char Bar. Any restaurants in the JCC these days?

I am driving into DC for the weekend, and rather than pay $45/night (X3) to park a car that I won't be using I was planning on parking somewhere outside the city (maybe Silver spring/Rockville area) and Ubering or Metroing into the city. How feasible does this sound and where is a good place to park the car safely & inexpensively? Thanks!

Hyatt Regency Capitol Hill. Multi-day lots available? Do you know of any specifically?

Near Georgetown Law there are a bunch of lots that shouldn't be more than 20/day (I have found cheaper).  Cant't remember specific name, but the law center is actually near capitol hill so I would look into it.

Any waiter service restaurants that I can go to with non-Jewish co-workers other than Char Bar?

which area? Within 20 min of Washington DC? This place has waiters, however it's still on the casual side.
Great meat and fantastic garlicky mashed potatoes and green beans: http://www.motismarket.com/motisgrill.shtml

Otherwise, Max's in SS is more of a deli: http://www.theshalomgroup.com/maxs-cafe-and-catering/cafe-menu.html
and Baltimore has more to waiter-type locations to choose from.
