Mainly Shachris. I'm sure there is a shul where all the Brooklynites daven on chol hamoed:-)
Don't be so sure, the Greater Washington area isn't the kind of place where you'll find minyan factories. If you're looking to daven at a minyan, stick to the posted times.

Check yise.org. Located in the Kemp Mill neighborhood of Silver Spring.

Woodside shul has a mikvah - they’re Located in the Woodside neighborhood. Www.Wsat.org which is closer to DC Than kemp mill.

They are very nice about opening the mikvah, they charge $10 I think.

Thanks. I'm looking for where all the guests ho so there are multiple minyanim. Any insights?

I would suggest kesher Israel, as the traffic to silver spring can sometimes be terrible

The mikvah next to the Woodside shul is a block away. Don't forget to ask someone the number of the combination lock before getting there.

Kesher Israel had 1 scheduled shachris (7:05), but due to the multitude of streimlach and black hats, a second minyan (8:15) was requested and granted. The third makeshift minyan was not quite appreciated by the locals.

Quick Review of Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center Air and Space Museum near IAD

Getting There: Parking is $15. 30 Minute Grace Period. After 4:00 PM its free.
Shuttle from IAD. Museum is good if you have a long stopover in IAD and need something to do.

Observation Tower - Can see IAD runways and hear ATC in real time. If you get there during a time where planes are flying right past aka. planes are landing at the the closest runaway it can be really cool otherwise you can definitely see the planes land but best to bring binoculars or a have a really good zoom lens on your camera for the full experience.

Exhibits - 2 main exhibit areas, Planes and Space.

The planes exhibition hall has the Concord and the Enola Gay ( used to bomb Japan in WWII). They also have a collection of other Aerobatic cool planes and military planes.

The Space exhibition hall has one main the feature, the Discovery Space Ship  together will some other rockets and stuff like that.

Overall, I thought it was a cool place to go but kind of boring since you can't go in or even touch any of the planes. Really all your doing the whole time is looking and reading. The Observation Tower was really cool, too bad the planes were not going right past us, but maybe its worth it to take a quick trip there and go up to the tower and quickly see the some of the planes.

I went a few years back and my take was similar. More than anything it's a place to display a lot of cool historical planes (and other flying things). But it's not set up the way the Air and Space on the National Mall is, where there are exhibits that take you through a specific aspect or era of flying. Basically, aviation geeks are more likely to enjoy Udvar-Hazy, while the average Joe will enjoy the regular museum, and learn from it too.

All sold out now but that's really not that bad of a deal if you're into hockey and don't keep kosher.

If I have a choice between an executive suite at the grand hyatt (about 900 sq feet) and club lounge access or a junior suite (500 sq feet) at the park hyatt what do I choose?

I don't have an answer for you on the room/hotel alone, but location is a big differentiator. GH is more centrally located (can walk to many more attractions), while PH is walkable to the shul in Georgetown and Char Bar, as well as the foggy bottom metro station.

I will be doing 9am
- East Wing Tour -
1. Is it safe to say I will finish by 11:30am  ?

I would like to cover 2 things
- Newsuem -
- Spy Musuem -

2. Which should I do first
3. How much time do I need for both

That evening I would like to do a tour of some of the monuments in a group of 6
I know there is a golf cart but I read it only holds 5, Another option is Segway I just don't like the waste of time of 30 mins to learn how to ride it.

4. Can anyone suggest a quick tour that will let us see
- Washington Monument -
- Lincoln Memorial -
- Jefferson Memorial -
- Ulysses S. Grant Memorial (View of Capital or Capital Building) -
-DMC

If you want a tour with a guide and all, it's not gonna be cheap. If you just want to be able to see each memorial, check out the DC Circulator. It's supposed to run every 10 minutes until 8pm, and has stops for all the spots you want to hit.

keep in mind that the Newseum's price includes two days (at least when I went) because of how much to do and see there. We didn't even spend a whole day there but we could've spent more than one. Enjoy. We thought it was fabulous.

Char Bar is a great lunch. Try the pulled brisket nachos.
