Can you ask them if they are open over Pesach
of course. If I forget remind me to reply.
It's $28 for an excellent steak with a number of great sauces and 2 side dishes.
Skip their entrees and dessert.
I told them Dan said we have to. Done. Now to get enought battery from my BB9900 and service from At&t to find it.

Lol, remember to ask for extra sauces for the steak (they come on the side) and quite honestly the entrees, sushi, and desserts were big disappointments, don't waste your time/money on them.

This is not exactly proof, but if you go to the Capitol K's site (that's the hechsher there) they say that of the restaurants under their hashgocha, only Moti's Grill (in Rockville - at least a half hour drive from DC proper) is open for Pesach. I can't vouch for their Pesach menu, but during the year it's good stuff, especially for the price.

My uncle tells me I'm a fool for not going there for their American night all-you-can-eat on Mondays.

Yeah, I was there on a Monday night, but I'm not a big eater so I just ordered a steak, which was slightly less expensive and more than enough food for me. It did look really good though.

Thanks for insisting, it was great. Friends all had steaks and loved it, I was full so took sushi and small hamburgers, neither of which were good, but decent.

We saw the Air and Space Museum, International Spy Musuem, Smithsonian American Art, Capitol, SCOTUS, walked around a bit. Now heading to Pentagon, WH, Holocaust museum. Can't do Library of congress as some of us didn't bring their ID's and don't speak English. Are we missing anything?

Newseum!
which is quite expensive in my mind if you do not intend to spend much time there. I stopped by on my way from the DOJ to Union Station, and enjoyed viewing their outdoor/lobby exhibit with all the news papers

There's only one Orthodox shul in DC, Kesher Israel in Georgetown. That's around a half hour walk.

Looks like there are 2 chabad houses, each within 1 mile of the PHDC.
Never stayed but it's a nice looking hotel and close to Eli's.

Fromm photo gallery I've seen, it looks like its more like a business-style type of property. Do you think it'll be enjoyable as resort for vacation?
Love me or hate me. I still love you.

I'm was sitting here trying to figure out how you found 2 Chabad houses within a mile, till I realized google was pointing me to the Grand Hyatt, despite my search for Park Hyatt.

In that case, the PHDC (along with the a Fairmont, Westin and Ritz-Carlton) is basically the closest luxury hotel to the Kesher Israel, just a 10 minute walk. KI has 3 minyanim a day, and 2 minyanim for shachris on Shabbos.

+1000

Don't go to DC to relax. Go to DC to see all sorts of great attractions (most of them free) you can only find in the nation's capitol.
