Anyone, what are the prices for parking lots in the area's around the museum's capital etc.?
Until 4:30 PM you can get for around 2.50 an hour on the streets after that its the parking lots that cost upwards of $20 for 2+ hours or more.

Update on CharBar:
Still going strong.
For my first time, ordered take-out.
Called and ordered from DCA, picked up on way to the hotel.
Food was warm when I picked it up.  I could not eat for another 30 minutes and it was not quite as warm as I would like — not at all the restaurant’s fault.
Onion rings were still crispy.
Pretzel bun was not soggy.
Delicious decadence.
Good thing i ordered the diet Dr Browns.

I'm new to this forum, so please go easy on me. I'm going to be landing next Sunday evening at IAD on the late BA flight from London, and I'll be too tired to drive to Baltimore. Are there any kosher places that deliver to IAD hotels (without an extortionate fee)?

Uber?
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Char bar is on door dash IIRC, not sure how late you're getting in though or how far they deliver.

Going to be in Washington DC for July 4th. staying a couple blocks from the Air and Space Museum. Is Char Bar my best bet for having food delivered (no car)? Anything else that will deliver to that area (only ordering for 2 people so won't be too large an order).

Yes, you can also check where the food truck will be when you're there.

Uber?
Expensive, but if I consider it, is there anywhere open after 10?

In DC there is only the food truck (Brooklyn Sandwich Company) and Char Bar.

What would be a good 1 day itinerary  11am-9pm for a first time visiting DC, including eating supper somewhere?
Always praying for delayed baggage.

Anyone stay @ the embassy suites in Georgetown and have experience with the breakfast buffet? Are there kosher options? Is the staff accommodating?

I think it's a pretty safe assumption that, in the US, a hotel breakfast will have kosher cereal and milk and most likely bagels and CC, possibly kosher yogurt (assuming non-chalav yisroel/pas yisroel.)

Agreed. I’m referring specifically to accommodation in terms of bringing out disposables (often they only have silverware and china) as well as the kosher certification on the packages.
I’ve stayed @ the Embassy suites in Niagara on numerous occasions and the staff there is extremely accommodative.

I'd say you can assume most hotels would do that too unless you happen to run into a rude service manager or something like that. As an aside, what's wrong with using their utensils for cold food items?

Oatmeal? Coffee?
