Char Bar is open with a Kosher L’Pesach menu. The gorgeous Ritz (down the block) and St. Regis are available for 50K points (certs).

The shul (Kesher Israel) does not ask for proof of vaccination.

Any nice places to stay for shabbos near DC ? Near minyan and hotels, extra points for points hotels 😉
Edit: not IN dc but rather quiet resort like places in driving distance

I was researching similar, best I found was Residence Inn Arlington Courthouse walkable to Chabad of Alexandria-Arlington, I think 12 minutes.  It didn't work out for other reasons, so I don't know how Shabbos-friendly it is.
I should add that I was looking for a kitchenette.

Looking to stay at the Hyatt House by the Wharf, as it has everything I’m looking for. Outdoor pool, kitchen in rooms, good location.

Just wondering if anyone has experience or know about it, especially if it’s Shabbat friendly. There seem to be a few weird things like the fact that the entrance is on the second floor of the outdoor area. Also apparently elevators can only be used by touching some options on a large touch screen that apparently doesn’t work too well.

There used to be a food truck not sure if it's still around. Iirc there may be a couple of vegan places as well ( don't think they're under the Capitol K). Char bar is great though

Oh Mama Grill is finally open in the Adams Morgan neighborhood at 1829 Columbia St NW. Had a shwarma laffa from there this week and was excellent - 10/10. Really nice having another good, solid Vaad certified-kosher option in DC.

Any other kosher restaurants since a year ago? Staying over one night in the area.(WH area).

I got a shwarma laffa as well, but nothing to write home about.  The chicken was dry. Could be because I came at 830pm? Though the falafel was delicious,  little did I know he brings the pitas in from Israel. They were really tasty. Chummus platter was great, so was the beef cigars. Matzoh ball soup was a flop, not so hot, with lots of pepper.  But was a great semi warm drink.

I've almost always had it during lunch so could be different - but I agree falafel is of the best I've had on this side of the atlantic
