You can BYOD and then you don't have to sign the contract, and there is only a $25 sign-up fee.

In that case shoot for an S3 you might be able to pull off $200 for one on Craigslist.

Each line has it's own 2yr contract.

I thought the contract was for all, and if you don't want the phone they take $200 off.

if you use BYOD then there is no contract on that line. Also, the contract follows the specific device/line not the plan as a whole. So yes, if you had 9 phones and 1 byod, you would have 9, 2 year agreements, and the byod would not be in any contract
