5 S4s, one in white, four in black. BTW if you want iPhone don't pay the $150, you can just go to tmobile store and swap it for a $50 restocking fee.

After the 500mb is the data slowed down to 3G or 2G?

Tmobile says it is slowed to 2G.
Can anyone confirm if its 2g or 3g ?
The guy on the phone told me it slows down to 3g but tmobile is telling me 2g,

also he says
UNLIMITED domestic messages (text, picture, and video).
Includes Mobile HotSpot Tethering: Up to 500 MB.
but i dont see on the tmobile site that it is included in the plan.

would that be 500mb x2 or just the 1 500mb ?

Just called the number and it sounded very "unofficial".
I asked a few questions and this was his response:
  • about $350 termination fee for early termination
  • phones arent unlocked but could be after 90 days

Is there a discount for switching my number over from another carrier?

Does anyone have insight on what T-mobile's service in like in Brooklyn and the Catskills?

Check out https://maps.eng.t-mobile.com/pcc-customer.php, you can see the coverage map, when it shows "roaming partner" that means they are roaming on AT&T network as they are the other GSM carrier in the US of A. The same way sprint will in many instances roam on verizon, Att and tmobile have roaming agreements in place as well. See the map to check if the roaming agreements are in place in the area you are checking up on. Keep in mind that when roaming they will not give you access to their carriers top data speeds, rather 2G/3G but text/voice works fine

Right now I'm on page plus with only 200mb of data, so unless I start streaming it's not really nogeiah to me, but where do you see this?
From what I have heard, it depends on the fallback technology of the tower in that area. TMO is usually 4G, and paired with either 3G or 2G capabilities. Depending on that 3G or 2G would be the speeds after the high speed data allowance for your plan have been depleted unless you would take the extra data add-ons for either 2.5GB or unlimited 4G

from what I hear, its excellent in brooklyn, and metro areas in general, also works well in jersey (I think T-Mobile purchased metropcs recently...). outside of metro areas it depends...

I have T-Mobile. I don't usually have problems in Brooklyn. In the Catskills the service is very spotty....even when roaming. I lost service ten minutes out of NYC and had a little service in Monticello.

I just signed up! I asked for a email confirmation of what was agreed on. Here it goes:

This is an understanding of the deal you made with us, however this is not the contract with T-Mobile, which will be sent to you directly by a T-Mobile representative.
3 Lines: $82.80/month ($27.60 each line) before taxes. Including $225/line setup fee, of which $200/line (total $600) has already been invoiced to you, and $25/line (total $75) will be charged to the first month's bill with T-Mobile.
The plan includes unlimited talk (landline and mobile), unlimited text, and unlimited data (2G/3G) included with 500MB/line of 4G LTE service.
This deal is refundable within 14 days upon delivery of phones.
Feel free to give us a call at 347.815.5410, or visit our website tmobiledeal.com.
The T-Mobile Deal Team

I plan on giving them a try and if it isn't for me, canceling within the 14 day grace period for a full refund with no harm done. If it all looks good I'll port my sprint lines over and try switching at least one phone in at a Tmobile store to a Iphone 5 for $50, as was suggested by APoshiterYid.
5 S4s, one in white, four in black. BTW if you want iPhone don't pay the $150, you can just go to tmobile store and swap it for a $50 restocking fee.
I'll I"H post a follow up on the progress...

I can give you my update. 5 lines, we've had service for about a week and so far no complaints (we are all located in queens). One phone came with a bad speakerphone so we are getting that replaced, other than that no issues whatsoever. The one of us that was planning on swapping his gs4 for an iphone instore for a $50 restocking fee hasnt gottent the chance to do it yet, so still can't confirm that, though on the phone (actual) tmobile said it would be fine.
If you have my email PLEASE don't PM me :)
