Actually I don't know why nobody mentioned it here. the business $1500 went dead a week and a half ago. I figured that they are probably shutting down all of them right now, so I jumped to apply right then.

Sorry that i didn't mention it, I should of have mentioned it. But, I wasn't really following this thread, I just kept on seeing that this thread is up again and again with new posts, so I figured it is probably discussed widely.

I had applied a few weeks ago for the $1500 business and was approved, but when called to confirm they said it was $4000. So I'm not sure if i clicked the wrong link by mistake or they changed it on me. A few days later i think they took down the 1500

People have been saying that they got approved and then got a letter in the mail declining them because the offer "had since expired.'

No, that's been reported as happening also. They have switched 1500 apps to 4000 apps. Be happy you got in before it ended

seems my application did go through (for the amex 4k, 75k points) and i should have my cards arrive any day they said. But i also at the time applied for the visa card and got an error, didnt reapply cus i thought mayb it still went through0 but that one never made it through, im guessing the application was dead by than... k at least i got one!!

If you closed them and waited 6 month you should be able to get it. Otherwise YMMV.

I can tell from experience: 1) that closed cards do qualify after 6 month. 2) non-closed cards will never get re-approved even after a year. on 18-24 month i cannot tell, because I never waited that long before reapplying. 3) that their system is set up to reject any application regardless of the amount of points that is in the application.

There's no predicting this with the indicators/variables you two are discussing, it's a total YMMV (though those factors may (or may not) affect your odds of approval/rejection).
