Interesting why my wife's card that I made as an au on my account has my aadvantage account number on the card, but not mine. The au was done a few weeks later.

Eureka! An actual response

AA won't let me change the FFN online, I guess I have to PUTPAC.

Oh I'll be praying. Worst case it will be my spend on AA to receive the $150 statement credit.

Have there been reports of flashing at check in working for free luggage? The credit card that is, I'm sure "flashing" will either result in a complimentary upgrade, or a few days in prison depending on whose doing the flashing etc.

First find your AA booking ref# through https://classic.checkmytrip.com. Then modify the reservation on aa.com to input your AA#. Worked for me many times and got my free bags.

I don't have a BA confirmation. I bought the ticket during the Airtran price match a few weeks back. I only hav AA confirmation.when I booked I put in my BA FFN, and now AA.com won't let me switch to AA FFN

I recently applied for Personal + Biz, and I got both cards.
After I got both cards in the mail, I got a letter denying the personal due to many applications

I am wondering whether my personal somehow registered as two applications instead of one, and am contemplating calling to get it pushed though.
BUT, my statement on my new card doesn't cycle until after the 30 days up, and I don't want to risk losing the 50K in case whoever I speak to realizes that AA has generously supplied me with close to a million miles over the years, and decides to flag my account.
What do you think, am I being too paranoid?

Hopefully it'll get my bag fees waived even though I booked this flight before I got my card.

That's what I did.

The CSR said she sees that I have a premium CC linked to my account that gives 1st bag free, and I should just show it at check-in.
