Author Topic: Citi AA signup bonus 50K, 75K, or even 100K??!! (Read 592661 times)

I went for a 2BM with Citi earlier today for the Amex and the MC Gold with 30K. The Amex was approved and the MC declined. After multiple HUCA's I had the same information confirmed by 3 American managers. All the calls originate in Manila, when you request a supervisor it gets transferred stateside.

All the supervisor confirmed that as of March 1st they are only approving 1 card per day. Any additional applications submitted in a single day will be declined, and there is no reconsideration that they can do.

The system automatically declines and kills the application according to these supervisors. I begged and pleaded for a recon, and they said there is nothing they can do to manually override the system. What a waste of my 10th EX Pull, at least I have 2 pulls falling off in the next 2 months and another 2 by the end of the year.

The 3rd supervisor I spoke to even said "you wouldn't have gotten you points even if you were approved, they are only for first time card members".

I will keep HUCA'ing and I hope to perhaps find a sympathetic and inexperienced rep who will help me out.

Yep.. I tried huca at least ten times already... Keep getting same response... Won't even switch over from the mc to a Amex/visa...

I was successful getting both in 1 day recently.

No, the rule is 2 cards every 60 days. No difference personal or biz.

Yes, but need to wait 12-24 months.
