Well I don't own a business, so I'm not sure what the protocol is for business apps and getting rejected. If it's worth it to call recon or not.

If I applied for the Citi Personal and Business, but not the Amex, can I apply for the Amex now after the fact even though I didn't do the three browser method with it?

Has anybody recently applied and gotten the miles? Just wondering if the offers are still working. And if someone can post the citi recon number, I'd greatly appreciate it. I had a denial due to max credit being extended to an individual so I called and had my credit line on my original citi card reduced. I called the accounts number and the new app status number and both are telling me I have to re-apply. If I can't get through via citi recon, I was going to apply for the personal and biz concurrently this time around. Thanks.

Should I bother applying for any of these cards? Does it help if I close my current AA card?

Also, re: Dan's Citi post today - can I apply for the Citi Thank You cards and the Citi AA cards at the same time using the 3 browser method?

Welcome to the forums!

The three browser method will work with any three Citi cards, if some are Citi business (and Citi business pulls from a different bureau than Citi consumer in your state), then you may get two pulls.

As for getting approved with a current Citi AA card, it's become much harder, but YMMV.

Those transfers are idiotic, as the airlines charge exorbitant fees, when instead you can book award tickets in someone else's name with no limits and no extra fees.

That'll take quite a while though... 50K after $2k within 4 months, 25K after $10k during first year, 25K after $10k during second year.

if a person gives his EIN number for the business card is it still common for citi to ask for 2 documents to prove your business or will the EIN number be suffice in most cases?

Is there any time limit one should wait after receiving the AA miles before cancelling? Or once you get them, you can cancel?

Meaning, did anyone ever cancel and get the miles taken back?
