Just did a triple app . Had the Visa Biz and Visa personal in the past, and  I was rejected previously for the Amex for already having the Visa.

The 2 personal are pending and the Biz they need info to substantiate my business address.

Will keep u posted if I get any

Try to pull  the app id from the page source,
Call today 18666062961 to get the two cards approved,  look at my previous post.

Got approved with 3 browsers for the 75k visa $1500
75k Amex $4000
75k business $1500,
Got only 1 instant approval, pulled the appid from the page source,
Called 18666062961 got the other two approved.
I previously applied for the 3 cards on 2/28 and converted them all to different cards, the personnel cards only converted after 45 days.

I screwed up and I don't have the app id. The # above won't discuss it without it is there any way for me to get hold of it now?

AsherO query this: Do the credit pulls matter as to who pulls them or that they were pulled at all?

IOW, would the fact that Chase pulled credit inquiry for cards in the last few months affect whether Citi AA card app would go through if Citi has not pulled in several months?  Or is it that Citi doesn't care who pulls but if pulled at all?

All pulls in the past 3-6 months) on the report they check will count, regardless of who intiiated the pull, as will the myriad of other factors they assess.

Having said that, pulls with the same bank you're applying with are still more problematic than other pulls.

Actually, I've been told by Citi that they ignore their own pulls when assessing for credit.

I posted earlier how I did a double app on sapphire and CO card. I just got a call from CO who called to confirm my info and asked me some Qs about my history, they then informed me they would proceed to do a credit pull.... I'm guessing my double browser application is now moot...

"Youthink" you can rely on what citi tells you, but "youShouldThinkNot". They told me the business card gets reported on a business credit bureau. Then yesterday another rep tells me that it certainly reports on the personal bureau. There are many people reporting absolutely no credit reporting on the business
card at all (as is my case too).

if a person gives his EIN number for the business card is it still common for citi to ask for 2 documents to prove your business or will the EIN number be suffice in most cases?

I doubt that's true, but even if it is, it's Citi specific and not the same at Amex/Chase etc.

Was anything frozen? If not, why would they pull (again?) at a later time, they usually pull immediately when you apply (unless their pull gets rejected due to 'inaccurate' information on the app, in which case they have to call and verify the info).

YMMV, they don't always ask for confirmation. If they do, you can try and use the EIN doc to open a bank acct in the business name using the EIN printout from the IRS website.

Who do you call to fight it? I've been calling the new accounts phone number and keep getting the runaround.

Nothing frozen. I'm not sure what wasn't valid on the form... though this has happened before where I've been asked when getting a credit report to verify different info. Again I don't have the typical credit like most due to AMEX screwing up my first couple years of reporting and accidentally linking my account to my brother's and upon delinking making all kinds of issues.

Citi wont approve me, called acct recon and still nothing doing.
They say I have to wait because "there were 2many requests for credit"(?)
How long do I need to wait?
it CAN be done!

If you have a decent case you can write in to the office of the president. It worked for me. They respond quickly.

(think this was discussed earlier, but i can't find it)
got an offer in the mail today to add an AA amex to my existing consumer visa for 10K miles after $250 purchases and 1.2 miles per dollar. pre-approved. annual fee waived/icluded in my 1st AA card.

is it worth doing this (pre-approved so i get 10K without another pull)? does this mean that a Amex 75K app is likely to get through the cracks (if the churning flags are allowing me an amex app, will it not 'notice' which app i use)?
or does it just mean i am in their lists of having had the promo b4 so i won't be able to churn anyway?

Not sure it's pull-free, might want to confirm.

Citi 75k offer churning is a major YMMV, I don't think this can help you predict how you'll fare, one way or the other.
