There is an option to speak to a representative. It could be it takes some time for the application to hit their system.

I just applied for the biz card. Got a pending app message. Called the # and after putting my info in was transferred to a rep. She was able to see it and said it is still pending. At least i wasn't denied right away:) Ive opened alot of cards in the last few months so i wouldn't be surprised if i got denied for that.

Do you put in your AA# in the app or leave it blank? I am wondering if that is another way for them to double check if you already received the bonus.

I just applied for the 75k visa and was instantly approved for 11k the only problem is that the application didnt say how much the bonus mileage is it didnt say anything about the 75k. Did anyone have the same problem and will it say in the welcome kit what the offer is?

Approved for the biz card. We'll have to see about the bonus - I've gotten it 9 or ten times in the past but none in the past 18 months.

I currently have the AA visa personal and Biz, I tried to get  the Amex one a few months ago and I was denied saying I have too much credit with Citi (which is strange). Should I cancel my current AA cards and reapply for the Amex card.

Also anyone know if you can have 2 different Biz cards with AA under 2 different business and get the promos?

I saw on SD that people were getting approved for the amex card even if they had the MC or visa before...I bit the bullet and went for a 6th amex card. Pending approval. Although if i get denied, im curious if it will be for having too many amex cards or having had an AA card before.

On a separate note, when applying, before you close out the page where it says that your app is being processed...right click on the page and go to "view Source" or "view page source." Then hit ctrl+F and search for the words "applicationid="

It will look similar to this: IFRAME src="https://poc.clixmetrix.com/B25E/97453071D77773E9/?ApplicationID=2010073190XXXX&Zip=xxxxxxxxxx" frameborder="0" height="1" width="1"

Use that application ID # when calling to verify your application status and the offer you signed up for.

I don't think I've ever had a Citi AA Visa or Amex, only a MC. Even if I did it was eons ago and I doubt I got the signup bonus.

I'm thinking of applying for all three 75K offers (I'm not going to go for the 100K offers, since they are contingent on 10K in spending, which I don't want to commit to ATM), but I want to maximize my likelihood of being approved for all three at one. Is my best bet to apply simultaneously using three browsers (IE, FF and Chrome)??

80k or 90k in economy depending on how you book it.

When you say "this offer" i assume you mean the offer we are discussing in the other thread? Why not delete this thread and post in the thread everyone is currently discussing it in? Also, if you read that thread you will see that the offer (i assume) you are referring to is only for new members...whats your question?

wow david I think you should rename yourself as "menahel of DD"

I dont mean to be a menahel. I see DD as a resource to ask questions, discuss deals, and gain from other's experiences. A resource will only be as resourceful as we allow it to be. It gets very annoying when people open new threads on the same topics, ask questions that can be answered from a simple google search etc.. I did not intend to cause any harm. It would just be nice if we could keep the forums organized instead of one big mess where people ask questions all over the place and not in the their intended threads. If Dan was around, he probably would have merged this thread into the appropriate thread already. Why do you think Dan created the Master threads in one of the other boards? To keep things organized. I dont think its alot to ask of people to search and post their questions in the appropriate threads and to see if their question has been asked already. Its common sense...
