wow david I think you should rename yourself as "menahel of DD"

theres Absolutly nothing wrong in pointing out to another member that instead of starting a new thread they should have piggy-backed their post onto an existing thread that deals withthat same Topic. Nor if the thread they started belonged on a different forum then the 1 it was posted on

I didnt sense David attacking ya but instead trying to Help him and others who might read the posts and learn that they too shouldnt simply start a new post if 1 already existed that dealt with that subject, and thusly before starting anew thread 1st search to see if 1 already exists

yes sometimes its nice to post where it was discussed, & in this thread it was acctually appropriate to do so (& also in the one about the starwoods fee going up) as these topics are currently being discussed on the forums.
I was more commenting on the fact that david is always the one to do so, I didn't mean it in any bad way. Sorry if it was taken like that

Yes! Crazy, hope I don't get some email taking it back. Had 2 Citi AAcards and canceled them 2 days ago. Applied for these. Trying to get lifetime elite status on AA.

I saw on SD that people were getting approved for the amex card even if they had the MC or visa before...I bit the bullet and went for a 6th amex card. Pending approval. Although if i get denied, im curious if it will be for having too many amex cards or having had an AA card before.

Update: got denied for the amex card. Im assuming it was because i have so many amex cards already...Ill update once i get the letter/email

There's no connection between the number of AMEX issued cards you have and the Citi AA AMEX which is not issued by AMEX.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

ive been denied the last few times i did apps. Im thinking of trying agin for one of these offers and putting in a different family member ss # but keeping my  name and my aa advantage # so that i can get the points in my acct
is there any reason that would not work? do they have a way to check if the name matches the ss #?

Officially October.
Unofficially whenever Citi pulls the URL.
In my experience that i usually later than the stated expiration date and it still works afterward, but they can always pull it early as well.

Wife got accepted for Visa, and Amex!! Applying for Bus now. Wow 3 for me and 2 for her in the same day. 375,000 miles. Crazy promo. Dan since I'm not familiar with AA (life long CO gold) is it true all these miles (not flown) will go towards lifetime elite status?

If I want to apply for biz cc what do i put for the biz tax id?  I have a real biz but prefer not to mess with the credit on that if i can help it.  Also has anybody determined if you can get separate cards for each biz you own?  That would be kewl!

Wondering if the apply same second will work, people on FT reporting that with citi aa after immediate approval they sometimes send a denial.

I'd like to try for 2 at same time, should I try for 2 personal or 1 personal 1 business?
