YMMV of course and worth a try but I wonder if they would let 1 person get 3 cards. Has any ONE person gotten 3 cards for themselves, not for spouses? I read from the end to this point and lots at the beginning too and on FT and haven't seen 1 person getting more than 2 either 2 pers or 1 pers 1 biz.

My experience was back in August, I used a similar trick to FF/IE, using 2 comps (worked for others) I got no email, so I called for a status update and CSR said I was going to get a letter and by the way there were 2 open apps. I just said mmmhmmm,. Few days later I got a request for more info but only on 1 of my attempts. Also applied for biz 1 wk after original app for 2 pers, mid August . Was denied due to multiple applications for credit.
Today CSR told me they got my additional info on my pers and that it would take time to process etc. I asked about my BIZ card and he said you are only allowed 2 apps, at any time. I asked what if it's a different biz, and CSR said it's got nothing to do with it, it's tied to SS#. Said that I couldn't apply again for Biz this month, it would be a bit more than a month but he wasn't allowed to tell me an exact date when I could apply again... so to me it sounds like 90 days is probably about right between biz apps.
I think I will reapply for biz at the very end of the period, because what do I have to lose, especially if I get denied and don't get any pers. At this point I doubt they will approve me for both pers, because they seem to be on to us

I hope they don't read DD/forums

I did get rejected for the AA business card last week and am kicking myself for not applying for all 3 cards at the same second.

Its been asked several times on this forum and every other forum. A good idea would be to google the letters when you see abbreviations that you dont understand. It wont always work, but often will give you the answer.

It stands for "your mileage may vary" as in you may not get the same results as others got.

I still don't understand how not once did you contact Citi and they put your social into the computer and up pops like a hundred closed accounts. Do all banks not have the capability to view all past/present accounts per social #?

All the old account used to show up on citicards.com but BH now only the active ones do.

Anyway even if they see all the old account they must like me!

when i tried buying an amex gc with the aa amex it was declined. when i called to find out why they told me that they were considerinfg it a cash advance and thus was more than my ca limit. amyone else have this issue?

just to follow up for anyone curious. i signed up for 2 cards (one for me, one for my wife) both with the same AA number.

both cards were approved (for the 100k bonuses) and i received the cards yesterday. when i activated i confirmed with the rep that both bonuses are listed on the cards!

Any way to track application status online (i didn't get any numbers just an error message, and that I should not resubmit my app as it has been received).
