when u fill out an application it says if already a member take shortcut is there any reason not to do the three browser method from my account?
I was actually going to post about that today.
In my opinion, as much as its a shortcut, its an anti- churners tool if you know what I mean. It's probably good for a first timer who has the personal and wants to get the biz..
I never noticed that shortcut until today, can anyone confirm how  long its been there?

That's totally normal. If you didn't get automatically rejected that's a good sign! Just call them tomorrow to verify your info.

So call. It's either approved or it's not, in which case you just try again in 60 days or so.

Anyone have any experience with this phone number: 301.790.4200?

I currently own Citi pers. and biz and applied yesterday for all 3 cards again. Today I got a missed call from the above number, called back and the automated message says that I've reached Citi in Hagerstown, MD...
There's an option to talk to an agent. Anybody knows what it can be about?

did u guys know that Citibank counts an account that you are an authorized user on as your own account when evaluating u for a credit score. I am an AU on my fathers account that has a very high credit line which was 3/4 my stated income and they basically said that that is the reason that i wont get approved. is there anyone i can contact for reconsideration that is not a csr on that phone number cause i spoke to a supervisor and when i asked to speak to her manager they said if i want to escalate it further i need to do it in writing? any advice would be appreciated

As an AU on citi it is on your credit score. Thats ironic bc usually its beneficial. You can take yourself off as an A/U but with such a high credit line it will certainly impact your credit ratios. Not sure what in terms of dealing with citi would be a solution other than getting yourself off that card - but what is the outstanding credit on that card? If its carrying a low balance than whats the diff. if its carrying a 20g balance and your stated income 30g you should see why thats a problem

That depends whether the CL shows up on the credit report or not.
Citi sometimes reports the credit limit a $0. In that case it would be a benefit for him to come off the account.

from his post it seems like they ARE eporting the CL and that's the problem; it's TOO high (close to his total stated income)
