Thank you. I was hoping to get one of the personals approved too, but it seems like I've hit a brick wall.

I think it's time for another round for me... even into the brick wall.

Citi is the only bureau hitting my Equifax (at lease before the freeze on my Experian), so I really didn't mind hitting them again.

In a previous triple-app round. In this round both personals got declined.

How's it going with your Experian freeze any luck getting an Amex or Chase to pull from a different agency?

It seems Chase pulled a different bureau, I suspect Equifax, but I'm not sure. I hope to know more in a week or two.

A week ago I put through a triple-app (my third round IIRC). The two personal cards got declined (one for multiple app and one for first time cardholders only), and the biz got declined for multiple apps too. I called them and pleaded my case, and got the biz app submitted for credit review, today I got an email that I'm approved with $8k CL :D FTW!!!
did you confirm with an agent that your getting 75k?

Are you referring to the first post in this thread?

There are some reports on FT of people getting offers from Citi for 75K AA signup bonus after spending $1500 and others have gotten offers for 50,000 American Airlines AAdvantage® bonus miles after $750 in purchases within the first 4 months of cardmembership and 50,000 AAdvantage® bonus miles after you make $10,000 in purchases during your first 12 months of cardmembership. Fee is waived for the first year annual fee.
There are links for the personal Visa and Amex and business Visa

The big question is that since these seem to be targeted offers will they work for anyone who uses the links or only for the intended individuals. The problem is that the links go directly to apps that dont have any info about these bonuses so you cant prove to them at a later date that you used a valid app. Here are the links if anyone is interested;

For the 50K+ 50K bonus
Personal Visa;

Personal Amex;

Business Visa;
https://www.citicards.com/cards/acq/Apply.do?app=UNSOL&sc=6VVZBHD0&m=7QAEZZUCZZW&langId=EN&siteId=BAO&B=V&screenID=3006

Personal Visa for 75K after $1500 spend;

Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Will do (BL"N).

did you confirm with an agent that your getting 75k?

Yes. The rep was telling me he didn't know the offer was still around.

can someone post a link to the best current aa cards

Here's the 50/100k offers, I haven't used these links, but presumably works until the link is dead:
Visa
Visa Biz
Amex

  • 50,000 American Airlines AAdvantage® bonus miles after $750 in purchases within the first 4 months of cardmembership
  • 50,000 additional American Airlines AAdvantage® bonus miles after $10000 in purchases within 1 yr of cardmembership
  • $85 annual fee ($75 for the CitiBusiness® / AAdvantage® Visa® card) waived for the first 12 months of cardmembership*
See the 75k offers below.

Do you mind telling us which citi cards you have open and when you opened them?

I did three or four rounds over the past year for the following three apps, approved once in the first round for a Visa personal, and once in the last round for a biz, churning these is a total YMMV:

75k Visa
75k Visa Biz
75k Amex

  • 75,000 American Airlines AAdvantage® bonus miles after $1500 in purchases within the first 6 months of cardmembership
  • $85 annual fee ($75 for the CitiBusiness® / AAdvantage® Visa® card) waived for the first 12 months of cardmembership*
  • Note, nowhere on the application page will it mention the 75k, but in everyone's experience for over a year, using these links has worked, so we'll presume they work until we have reports saying they don't. I don't think there are any live offer pages for these offers, so please don't ask for them.

Enjoy the Game  8) Good luck!

I'm considering starting to charge for it... ;)

Seems like my cancelled Citi Identity Monitor is still providing credit alerts, so I know my Equifax was pulled by Chase :D

When I called Chase reconsideration, they told me they can now only open 1 account per 30 days, so I have to wait until 30 days since my Hyatt was opened. When I asked to clarify, they confirmed it's 30 days between opening accounts (not 30 days since application). I have about a week left until the 30 days are up, then I'll call again. YMMV.
