Nice to offer.
Btw IHG plat is useless... Just stayed in a few hotels and got nothing extra, besides like 3 free drink vouchers in a crowne plaza.

I got a room upgrade with my Platinum status at the Intercontinental in Paris.  But it doesn't happen often.

With Intercontinental ambassador status is only way to go. Platinum is good for holiday inns I get upgraded to suites

They haven't knocked my socks off with any special upgrades yet, although I'm not a RA just a regular one

I got lounge access, free drinks. I was going to upgraded but the room was availible for another 4 hours... so we ditched the upgrade.
