Need help to calculate Aeroplan points, used and pay back in cash

As the title suggests, I recently used someone else’s points in the Aeroplan shared family plan. I’m getting mixed search results online regarding how to calculate the points. If someone can kindly explain to me how to calculate 30,641 points that were used into a dollar amount. I like to pay the person back because I don’t have enough points.

TLDR: I used somebody else’s Aeroplan points, and I like to convert 30,641 points into a dollar amount so I can pay them back.

Aeroplan sells them for 2 cents per point, but the fair market value is probably less

As with all miles, it really depends on knowing how to use it. Travel bloggers evaluate them at 1.4-1.6 if that helps you.
